A Ring

Photo by Watoker Derrick Okello on Unsplash

With no clear beginning; nothing in the middle,

a ring is a thing to put one finger in.

A ring may be bought, made, lost, or discarded;

a ring may be bound to bring envy and sin.

If I made a ring, I would not want to keep it.

I’d give it to you in exchange for a grin.
